Wikinorthia A partnership was set up in 2006 within the northern region of Melbourne, consisting of Darebin Libraries, Moreland City Libraries and Yarra Plenty Regional Library. The partners successfully secured funding from the Library Board of Victoria for a new project ‘WikiNorthia’ an online encyclopedia designed to document life in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne.
Coburg High School Historical Group Coburg High School Historical Group comprises ex-students committed to preserving the history of the former Coburg High School for the benefit of future generations.
Public Record Office Public Record Office Victoria holds records created by Victorian government departments and authorities, the State’s courts, municipalities, schools, public hospitals and other public offices. The records date from the establishment of the Port Phillip District in the mid 1830s and include information relating to areas of activity managed or regulated by government such as the administration of justice, immigration, health and welfare, land, education, Indigenous communities, planning, transport, and resource management.
Picture Victoria PictureVictoria is a Victorian Local History Project, funded from Arts Victoria, through the Statewide Public Library Development Grants. This project aims to increase the accessibility of the local history collections held by Victorian public libraries, in particular through the development of a digitisation strategy. The primary focus of PictureVictoria is to provide a single portal for access to pictorial and photographic collections held in Victoria’s public libraries. This site aims to complement existing portals, such as Picture Australia and the State Library of Victoria’s Picture Collection.

Brunswick Community History Group Brunswick Community History Group (BCHG) is a community-based organization interested in the history of our local area. We are interested in all the aspects of history, research, reminiscences, families, historic buildings, documents & photographs.
Broadmeadows Historical Society The Society has been in existence since 1975 and since then has managed to gather from a wide range of services a large assortment of photos depicting people and events covering the period from when we were a Roads Broad District (1858) then a Shire (1871), then the City of Broadmeadows (1956) and finally the City of Hume.
Essendon Historical Society The Essendon Historical Society was formed in 1970, and remains active in the local community. In 1980 the EHS opened a local history museum in the former Moonee Ponds Courthouse.
