It covers topics such as domestic life, Coburg during the two world wars, a Pentridge exhibition, material relating to Coburg Council, education, tools and equipment from the past and so much more.
Our information files sometimes hold a small amount of material only, but we are adding to them all the time. We are currently adding files to our new filing cabinets in the Annexe of the Bluestone Cottage Museum, 82 Bell Street, Coburg.
Our information files include material on:
Estates (ie sub-divisions)
Estate agent sales brochures
Parks and reserves
We also have a complete set of Sands and MacDougall Street Directories for Coburg plus a small library of reference books related to aspects of Coburg’s history. There is also a small, unindexed collection of local newspapers.
If you are able to help with the preparation and upkeep of our information files, please let us know. Click here to find out more!
